Piedmont Baptist Church Staff

Dr. Michael and Mrs. Amy Edwards

Piedmont Baptist Church was started out of a burden from the Lord. Pastor Mike and his wife Amy had been praying for some time about where God would lead them.

They looked out west to start a church, but God kept closing the doors. On Sunday, October 4th, 2001 the church had its first service.

Mr. Chris and Mrs. Brandy Hunt

As our Youth Pastor, Chris is also the AWANA Trek Director here at Piedmont. He serves as a Chaplain in Rowan County as well as a teacher in the PBC College. His family has been members here at Piedmont Baptist Church since 2011 and has assisted with the Youth Program since 2013.

Mr. Jason and Mrs. Penny Manus

Jason oversees the maintenance of the main campus and the FLC. He also takes care of event setup. Penny is our Financial Secretary here at PBC and is over accounts receivables and payable. Penny is also the Admin for the PBC College.

Mr. Sydney and Mrs. Cathy Coble

Sydney joins our team with 30+ years in the Music Department. He directs our Choir and leads our music program. He schedules special music for services and events such as funerals, meetings, etcetera. Cathy serves faithfully on the piano in church services. Sydney and Cathy also write and direct our biblical dramas.

Miss Cadee Linker

Our newest edition to the PBC team, Miss Linker assists Lyndsey in managing the kids' ministries, teaching classes, creating lessons, and more!

Mr. Nathan Winecoff

Nathan helps maintain the main campus and FLC facilities. He also assists Jason in different maintenance tasks as well as event setup.

Miss Sarah Edwards

Sarah works as an office assistant, overseeing our bookstore and other ministries at PBC.

Mrs. Jenny Talbert

Jenny is the manager of the Piedmont Baptist Church coffee shop, Piedmont Perks.

Mr. Samuel Kilby

Samuel handles media and other tech-related tasks on both the main campus and the FLC.

Mrs. Heather Moss

Heather keeps up with registrations for events, the additions of new members, and other tasks regarding our database.

Michelle helps with different events at PBC, handles phone queries, and assists Lyndsey.
